When They Turn the Clean Water on Again

When they turn the clean water on again

I will drink from the faucet again and dance.

I will swing my hair all around and move it, move it.

I will sing about water and dance.

I will shake my body and have a party.

I will celebrate the day of beautiful water

and read you a poem about it.

What If

What if kittens or puppies

came out of the faucet?

What if cotton candy

that was one-hundred percent sugar?

Instead rocks and dust comes out.

Instead poison comes out.

What if stars came out?

Instead rats come out and they eat

your whole body.
